How to apply Body Med Self Adhering Electrodes?
Each time, before you attach the electrodes to your skin:
- Be sure the stimulator is turned off.
- Insert the pins of the lead wire from the stimulator into electrode wire connectors.
- Remove the electrodes from the protective liner by lifting them at the edge of the electrodes and peeling them from the Liner. Keep the protective liner in a storage bag after removing it.
- Clean the skin thoroughly. Electrodes do not stick to the skin with Lotion, oil, make-up, or dirt. etc. Leave the skin moist prior to application.
- Apply the electrodes firmly to the skin. Adhesion improves if the skin is at room temperature.
How to Remove Body Med Electrodes?
- Before removing the electrodes from the skin, turn the stimulator off.
- Lift the edge of the electrodes and peel them from the skin. Do not pull on the Lead wires as you may damage the electrodes.
- Place the electrodes on the liner and gently remove the lead wire by twisting and pulling at the same time.
How to reuse BodyMed Fabric-Backed Electrodes?
- Peel the electrode off the plastic layer.
- Apply it to the treatment area.
- Remove after treatment and reapply to the plastic layer for later use.
How to care for BodyMed Self-Adhering Carbon Electrodes?
- Store electrodes in the resealable bag in a cool, dry place.
- Life of electrodes will be extended if you follow the application and storage direction shown above.
