Coloplast Self-Cath Closed System uses flexible medical grade PVC and fire polished eyelets to improve comfort at the drainage openings and along the insertion path. Tip shape and surface coating affect insertion glide in pathways that benefit from a curved insertion profile.
This system fits settings where a commode or bedpan is not feasible or practical, and it keeps drainage contained inside the closed collection setup. The catheter line does not use natural rubber latex materials.
