How to Use Coloplast Plus Male Intermittent Catheter ?
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Position yourself for catheterization. Cleanse urethral opening.
- Peel open beginning of pouch and fill with sterile water, (or as instructed by your physician).
- Leave the Coloplast Self-Cath Plus Catheter for 5 seconds to activate the coating. Leaving it for longer will not harm the catheter.
- Locate urethra and gently insert the catheter until urine begins to flow.
- When urine stops, slowly begin to withdraw catheter until flow ceases.
- Dispose of catheter.
- Product is designed for single use only.
