How to measure Acu-Spring PIP Finger Extension?
Directions for Use
- To fit the splint, slide splint onto finger so the proximal pad rests over the volar surface of the proximal phalanx and the distal pad rests at the distal interphalangeal (DIP) joint.
- To increase the force of extension, spread the volar pads apart before placing on the finger.
- To decrease the force of extension, pinch the volar pads together before placing on the finger.

- These products are to be fitted initially by a healthcare professional who is familiar with the purpose for which they are used.
- The healthcare professional is responsible for providing wearing instructions and precautions for other healthcare professionals, care providers involved in the patients care, and the patient.
- If unusual swelling, skin discoloration or discomfort occurs, use should be discontinued and a healthcare professional consulted.
Care Instructions:
- Splint can be cleaned by hand washing with a nonabrasive detergent.
- Air dry prior to wearing.
