- Cleaning and Maintaining:
– For regular cleaning, wipe with a mild soap and warm water
– When decontaminating bloodborne pathogens, use one cup of bleach to a gallon of water, then rinse
– After wiping the leather, allow it to air dry and apply neats-foot oil - Storage: Store in a dry area to prevent mildew
- Instructions:
– Open restraint completely and lay flat
– Put the limb which is to be restrained on the flattened restraint, roll the loop end of the restraint around the limb, then roll the adjustment end over the top of the loop end
– Adjust to the proper fitting, allow the loop to go through the appropriate size adjustment
– Secure by pulling the tail end of a Humane Restraint belt (locking or non-locking) through the loop and around a stationary object - Note: Do not use for prolonged periods of time. Improper adjustment may prohibit proper circulation.
