When to use Skintegrity Hydrogel Gauze
- Pressure injuries
- Partial- and full-thickness wound
- Leg ulcers
- Surgical wounds
- Lacerations, abrasions and skin tears
- First- and second-degree burns

How to apply Skintegrity Hydrogel Gauze?
- Cleanse wound with normal saline or wound cleanser and gently dry surrounding area.
- Fill wounds loosely with unfolded, saturated gauze pads.
- Cover wound with appropriate waterproof cover dressing, sach as stratsorb. Skintegrity hydrogel may dry out sooner if a non-waterproof dressing is used.
When to reapply Skintegrity Gauze?
- Dressing may be left in place up to 3 days, or as directed.
- If fluid leaks from the dressing, change it immediately.
Contraindications:
- Contraindicated for patients with known hypersensitivity to components of the gel.
- Heavily exudating wounds.
