How to use Contact Layer Wound Dressing?

1. Remove the protective clear tabs from both sides of the Restore Contact Layer Dressing with Silver.
2. Apply Restore Contact Layer Dressing with Silver to cover the entire wound using aseptic technique. The dressing may overlap onto healthy skin.
3. Cover with appropriate secondary dressing using aseptic technique (gauze, transparent film, etc). 
4. Secure secondary dressing with tape or other material.
5. Remove gloves and wash hands after completing procedure.

Removal of Dressing

1. Wash hands and put on gloves.
2. Remove secondary dressing.
3. Remove Restore Contact Layer Silver Dressing 
4. Irrigate wound base using Restore Wound Cleanser or sterile saline.
5. Reapply dressing if necessary.
6. Remove gloves and wash hands after completing procedure.
   Note – Restore Contact Layer Dressing with Silver should be changed every 1 to 3 days. Dressing change frequency will depend on patient condition and the healing progression.

Contraindications

• Restore Contact Layer with Silver should not be used on individuals who are sensitive to silver or who have had an allergic reaction to the dressing or one of its components.
