- Application Instructions:
– Open box to expose end of splint
– Pull out desired length of product and cut
– Fold the end of splint up inside pouch. Ensuring there are no wrinkles, fold the end of the pouch upwards and place the yellow tip of the open end of the closure rod into the crease at one edge of the pouch fold. Slide the rod onto the pouch (entire width) to ensure an air tight fit
– Immerse in clean, room temperature water until saturated
– Squeeze out excess water
– Apply splint to extremity. Secure splint as usual with a bandage or similar means
